Wesley Willis and Genesis Art Supplies - The LinkIn 1989 I recorded Wesley on a cheap hand held cassete recorder that I brought into Genesis Art Supplies to tape industrial sounds for a mix i was making.....just for the heck of it, I asked Wesley a question on tape. (Wesley spent alot of his days at Genesis back then, drawing)....anyway, he started rambling on and on, in a creative, interesting manner into the tape recorder....recognizing the value of it, i took his talking/speech/ramble and mixed it into some music for the enjoyment of a few friends working at the store. And of course for the amusement of Wesley himself It has been credited with inspiring Wesley to start writing his songs, start his musical carerer and become known...it may have..- I don't know- it may served as a catalyst... anyway, I have uploaded the tracks here for download.
